Dr. Tina M. King of San Diego College of Continuing Education Chosen for the Aspen Institute Presidents Fellowship

Today, the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program (Aspen) announced that Tina M. King, Ed.D, President at San Diego College of Continuing Education is one of 23 community college presidents selected to participate in the third cohort of the Aspen Presidents Fellowship, a unique year-long professional development experience supported by JPMorganChase. During the program, presidents will develop a reform agenda that helps more of their students graduate into good jobs, either directly after community college or following transfer and bachelor degree attainment.

San Diego College of Continuing Education Wins First Place at 44th Annual MLK Parade

San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) earned First Place in the Most Outstanding Float category at the 44th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, held January 18 along the Embarcadero. The award was presented by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, organizer of San Diego’s annual tribute honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
