Dear SDCCE Community,
I hope this email finds you well. I have some great news!
I’m pleased to announce that David Ogul will join our team in an interim capacity
as the Public Information Officer. David recently wrapped up an 18-month assignment
as Interim Director of College and Community Relations at Grossmont College, where
he served as part of an executive leadership team that played a critical role in reversing
a years-long decline in enrollment. He has spent most of the past decade working as
a contractor/freelancer/communications specialist for community colleges from Sacramento
to South Texas, including the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and
the San Diego Community College District.
My goal is for David to support the Communications Office by building a sustainable communications infrastructure that aligns well with SDCCE's overall strategic goals and that allows his team to remain proactive and foster innovation.
We believe that David would be an indispensable addition to our Communications Office and the SDCCE family. As you’re able, please take some time to introduce yourself to David and join me as we welcome our newest PIO!
