Dear SDCCE,
My family and I are so excited to participate in the annual Pride Parade this weekend. I'm looking forward to walking in support of our students and community.
I learned this week that SDCCD has had a presence in the parade for more than 40 years!
This year's theme is Justice with Joy and it will certainly be a joyful day marching together with our colleagues from the District, the credit colleges, and members of the SDCCD Board of Trustees.
I'll meet you at the Hillcrest Pride Flag (corner of University Avenue and Normal Street) and the first 60 SDCCE students and employees to join us at the event will receive a special SDCCE PRIDE cap in addition to the District t-shirt.
