A transformative renovation of the historic ECC theatre, which has hosted cultural
icons including Whoopi Goldberg, Maya Angelou, and Stevie Wonder. The project will
modernize theatre facilities, create a new "Living Archive" cultural center, and enhance
community spaces.

HH-E-002-003
7350 Armstrong Pl, San Diego, CA 92111
Targeted upgrades to the 38,500 square-foot facility including heating and cooling
improvements, exterior modifications, accessibility compliance, roofing enhancements,
and main entry reconfiguration for security and visibility.

Renovation and modernization of training facilities including welding booths with
modern equipment, new air quality extraction system, roofing, classroom and office
spaces, outdoor yard, and storage areas.

New building construction along with modernization of a portion of the existing facility

Critical structural enhancements across 52,600 square feet. Voluntary seismic improvements
implemented in three phases: Theatre Renovation, Community Room Renovation, and remaining
facility areas.
